Wedding Organisation help?
hi first dont panic its easy to do we arranged my sons wedding in just over 2 months and it went fine.

first find your venue for the service then phone registrar for the time of services availabe the rest is easy trust me.

the registras are great and if you get married in hotel etc they will help you loads.

good luck
Reply:First of all stop panicking your doing fine and August is still a long time away. Your list sounds fine the only thing that I would say was missing was a photographer but i am sure that is in hand. Just relax and enjoy your day as long as you and your groom are happy then you have forgotten nothing
Reply:One very important thing - to enjoy yourself! The day will go so fast, and the night before you'll be going over lists (I had about 6 different lists!) but then you'll pour a glass of wine, sit down and think "if it ain't done, tough!" You've got all the important things listed, and everyone else on this post has helped too amazingly (wish I'd posted on here!) but just remember to have fun!!

All the best xx
Reply:Table for gifts, box for envelopes at the reception? Somebody to round up the gifts and take them home after the reception? Possibly someone to stand guard over them, due to the recent rash of people walking into receptions, and walking out with the card box?

Person to cut and serve the cake?

Bar, bartenders/servers?

Your garter?

Special keepsake toasting glasses for you and hubby?

Gifts for the bridesmaids, groomsmen?

Some old something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a penny in your shoe?

Thank you notes and postage?

Clothing for bridal shower, batchelorette party?

Your jewelry, bridesmaids jewelry?

Groom has the officient's fee/gratuity ready?

Pillow for ring bearer?

Best man has speech ready, likewise groom, father of the bride? What is your toast to the groom?

Practiced first dance with groom, dance with father?

Made sure disco dj has the order of music for the special dances? and your favorite music list?

Got all the flowers? the corsages for the Moms, special honored guests?

Congrats!
Reply:hi there

dont panic it will be absolutley fine im a wedding photographer i have been to many many weddings the most important thing to remember is that athough yes your wedding is important it is the marrage you want you can spend a fortune on a wedding or you can have a nice down to earth one and spend as little as poss none of the above will make you any more married!! As long as you have your venue and youve let people know either via phone call or invite then your day will be perfect... just book what you want as a bonus.. believe me the low stress weddings are the most memorable.. and just in my experience they tend to be solider. People hear wedding and the price goes up dont get sucked into it.. hope you have a wonderful day.
