Wedding Budget?
Hi. Wow....that is generous of you if you are paying for the MOH's dress and the bridesmaids dresses along with the tuxes for the best man and groomsmen. Where I live, the attendants usually buy their own dresses and pay for their own tuxes.....but it's your money!

What about:

~ Rings

~ Cake

~ Stamps for the invitations and RSVP card

~ Marriage license

~ Cost for a wedding officiant

~ Music:

Any music at the ceremony? Organist? Pianist? Vocalists?

Music at the reception? DJ?

~ Gifts for attendants

~ Rehearsal dinner

Is your ceremony site and reception site the same?

How many guests are you feeding for $500?

That is not a lot of money for food, unless it's going to be a very small wedding.
Reply:Don't know how many people you're having, but 500 bux for catering sounds very little. Also, I don't know if you're just helping your wedding party with the cost of attire, but because groom and bestman/groom's men usually wear same tux, the cost might the same. I just went to Mens wearhouse for tux rental yesterday, and the most you'd pay is about 175 dollars(including the tax). Cake, entertainment is missing. You might also want to budget for Miscellaneous stuff like marriage license fees and anything that might come up.
Reply:Don't plan on anything special with a $600 photographer. Food as well, unless you're only having pasta and 40 people attending the reception. If you're budget is really small you may consider arranging these amounts differently or doing alot yourself. Most tux places will rent the grooms tux for free when you rent the groomsmens tux's, maybe you can call around and ask about that too. Good luck.
Reply:Yes...how many guests? And cake.

I highly doubt you can have any wedding that you would spend $2000 on the site catered for only $500.

A professional photographer for $600 is a stretch. Your flowers will be *very* simple if you are having a professional florist for $450.

Everything else seems do-able.
Reply:You shouldn't have to pay for the attendants dresses or tux, they should pay for it themselves.

That will save you some money which can be used for catering, I don't think $500 is enough.

However you do need to buy gifts for all who are in the wedding!
Reply:What about......

rings

cake

minister/officiant

bridesmaids/groomsmen gifts

rehearsal dinner

flower girl basket

ring bearer pillow

transportation to wedding

honeymoon

shoes

music

tips for vendors

Best of luck!
Reply:Thankyou cards, cost of stamps (for ty cards %26amp; invites), officiant fee, wedding rings, music, guest book (or equivalent-- I'm doing a ceramic signature plate), photographer, cake, tips,
Reply:the food will be at least a few thousand, plus alcohol. this should be about half of your budget or more. unless you are doing pot luck or something.
Reply:in addition to kelsey's comment ... alterations
