My fiance and I are wanting to have a Secret Garden themed wedding. We both love the movie and it describes both of us. Something that was loved, then died, and is beautiful again, kinda describes our love lives. But anyway, the church that we are having the ceremony at doesn't need to many decorations, pew bows and flower arrangements is about it. The reception area needs all the help it can get. It is almost perfectly square, with a stage on the right hand side. We are going to have a dj and a dance floor, and somewhere with food. The entry way we would like to put a trelis that has vines and flowers on it as a way to "walk into the garden." Besides that we got nothing. Any ideas or links to websites would be greatly appreciated. If you need any other info ask, I check up on questions at least once a day if not more. Thanks so much for the help. ^_^
The Secret Garden wedding?
a water feature would be awsome if you could get a small pool and a working fountain in the pool with flowers floating in the water maybe in the middle of the dance floor or in front of your sweetheart table ... large wrought ireon garden gates would be something to use instead of the trelis at the entrance very dramatic.. urns on the rables filled with roses in white and soft pinks with some moss surrounding the flowers .. hmm thats all i can think of right now
Reply:Start with Martha Stewart's site. Even if you aren't a martha fan, her wedding site has great ideas. I did a search for garden wedding theme and it came up with over 4500 articles!

Reply:weeding happens onces in life of romantic and sentimental people.being sentimental mostly wants the best of it, and extravagance. wherever the weeding is the importance is that you love and care for one another.
Reply:Nice theme idea. I am not familiar with the book, but I would also suggest that you try this website - Off Beat Bride - http://offbeatbride.com/ - they have gals there who have done everything in the way of different weddings - gay weddings, pirate weddings, cemetery weddings, you name it! They have a whole "pool" of photos you can search for ideas, and they have a "tribe" you can join with "groups" and stuff - I bet they can help you more than you might get here. Best of luck!
Reply:Get a two locked box with matching heart shaped keys..and when you get your rings, open the box with the keys and get the ring out.... Note: the keys are like the key to "secret garden"
You can also get a book on wedding planning if you're really out of ideas ;]
