Reception??

Okay, so my fiance and I have decided that we are going to use red and yellow as our colors for the wedding. The only problem is that I cannot find a lot of nice red and yellow reception decorations. I've found a little bit of gold, but I would much rather stick with yellow to match the dresses. I have found tons of stuff in silver, though, that I love. So I have two questions...



1) Does anyone know of any websites (I'll try ebay, but other than that any sites?)



2) If I can't find anything I like in red and yellow, would it be okay to do the reception hall in silver and white, with a splash of red(flowers)?



I am totally lost on this. I want to do red and yellow, but like I said I haven't found anything I like. We are doing a Marine Corps theme, so if you all find any links to websites that have stuff for weddings in that theme it'd be awesome!!

1) the best website ever is www.theknot.com

It has loads of pictures of everything from dresses, receptions, ceremonies, invitations, etc.



2) I think you can still do red and yellow...use flower petals on the tables and/or red and yellow candies (like m%26amp;ms...there are loads of sites where you can purchase wedding candy in ALL sorts of colors).



My fiance and I are doing red, black and white with splashes of yellow here and there (like a bit of yellow in my bouquet). It's entirely possible, so don't give up!

Reply:You could use Gerber daisies as centerpieces, etc. They come in really bright colors, like bright reds and yellows.
Reply:If I was going to add another color, I'd use Navy blue (which also picks up on the Marine theme)
