How much did you spent on your wedding?
My wedding is in 4 weeks but I've done almost everything....

I have a guest list of 200, give or take. My reception hall was $300 and food was $1,250. My inlaws are paying for the alcohol and rehearsal dinner. The church was $385( because I'm not a member). My dress with alterations, bra, slip, shoes, veil was roughly $1,175. I'm doing all the decorations myself at the hall and the church and I would guess that I've spent around $1,500. My DJ is $400, Limo is $390 and my photographer is $1200. By the way that's using plastic rolls of tablecloths and doing large vases with floating candles for centerpieces. I highly recommend using Ebay to save money on your wedding. It helped me save a TON of money. I got all of the flowers for my wedding (25 pieces) for $165 on ebay. I also got my tiara, programs, cake topper, disposable cameras, personalized napkins, gloves to name a few.) And if you know someone who has things from a wedding, don't be afraid to ask to borrow anything, most likely they aren't using those things anymore. You will mostly have to be creative if you are on a budget. Find pictures of things you like and then make them yourself. I have changed my mind a million times, I can't tell you how many things I've returned! Now I'm sure where you live has a lot to do with how much things cost too, I'm in Illinois just outside St. Louis, Mo. So I figure my grand total would be about $7,000. Be sure to remember gifts for your wedding party and parents for helping out. I hope I helped you :)

Reply:For 200 guests, we're at approx. 20,000. we didn't plan on it being that high but geesh, things are expensive. Venue was about 10,000 alone including bar. Gown was 798, flowers are a little over 400, Photography was a big one, 2500, video, 275, dj, 750 and limo, 815, then you've got decorations, favors, etc. etc... Wow, now that i look at this, we might be over 20,000. lol Well, to me it's worth it and were lucky enough to not have to get out loans to do it. Please don't do that unless it's only for a few thousand. I know some people that have to because they're doing it all themselves. Do what you can afford, it'll be beautiful regardless. Reply:25k for a traditional wedding; we hosted 200 guests. My gown was about a grand for the gown, alterations, veil and tiara. Flowers were around 800.
Reply:For 190 guests, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, We will probably end up paying about $11,000.

Reply:The whole thing cost ￡2000, we had around 40 people, but as my sister in law's house is so beautiful we saved a bundle of money using that as the reception venue. My dress was a gift from my mother.
