I had hoped to do all the planning myself but I need help. We need someone to help with the paperwork and making appointments for the paperwork...all the legalities of a destination wedding and such. We need to keep the cost under 2,000...any recommended websites, personal experience? We would like to have a civil ceremony for just the 2 of us at Carcalla. We will need a translator, witnesses and paperwork assistance only! No limo, flowers, reception...basically, NO frills...just simple! Oh, we would like photos taken...nothing fancy...even snapshots would do.
Want to elope in Rome, Italy. What company should I go through for assistance in civil ceremony? Cost?
Just a suggestion, but you could just have a "fake" wedding in Italy and then not have to worry about all the legal stuff. You could have a ceremony and such, but actually get your wedding license and such and have a Notary marry you in your home country.
Just an alternative if you find your original idea to be too hard to pull off.
Reply:I would get online and google look up differnt sites, and even call a travel agent maybe they can help. have a close relative to go take pictures for you.
Reply:weddingsitalyido.com and dolcavitaweddings.com will will give you all the information you need for a civil ceremony in Italy. They will also help you plan your wedding too. Bride should carry flowers, and groom should have boutineer in his lapel. Getting a photographer in Italy will not be a problem either. Why no frills? This is a special day and you are in Italy...come on, be romantic. Rome is gorgeous (been there twice) and you will get caught up in the romance and history of this beautiful city. This is only one day in your life, you are having your wedding ceremony in one of most beautiful cities in the world, and you want no frills? Be romantic and have a great time as this is a special day in your lives and you want to make it special.
