Help.......?

I am planning my wedding that is to take place October 11, 2008, I have nearly every detail {well not nearly}; down to a science, but I cannot for the life of me think of any nice decorations for the head table, where 9 will be seated {yes I know its off 1}; this is a daytime ceremony and reception so I dont want candles ANYWHERE, flowers are so typical I want something different, it took me nearly all day but I came up with a great idea for the guests table centerpieces, but now I cant think of one for my own, please help.....

Thank you

Help.......?
since it is in October... pumpkins and gourds. they are seasonal and inexpensive.. plentiful.. and simple to decorate with.. add leaves of silk, and a few ribbons.. it would be precious.
Reply:Bowls or vases filled with colored sand, rocks, or jelly beans in your wedding colors, or fish bowls with rocks the colors of your wedding with beta fish swimming in the bowls. Pretty draped table runners with nothing standing up, that way there's nothing blocking your view, and pictures can be easily taken without things getting in the way. Different types of grass have now become center pieces-(ask your florist, or you can look up pics online). You can wrap anything in ribbon and make it pretty, like boxes or vases. Small trees have also become more popular as centerpieces, and you can decorate them with hanging crystals or ribbon. You could also frame pictures of you and your honey in various sizes around the table-(black and white is classic), or you could display love notes written between you and your honey in the frames, or you could write down your best times or favorite sayings and frame those too. Good luck!
Reply:I was having trouble with the same thing until I attended a wedding last week. They had Bouquet clips on the head table and when the bridesmaids came in, they put the bouquets into the clips at the front of the table. Instant decorations!! (you can get the clips from Oriental Trading Company!)
Reply:A large style of the other tables centerpieces?

A wreath of flowers that loop up %26amp; down or around the skirt of the table without a centerpiece?
Reply:You can do like figurines or art sculptures of some kind!
