I think that you want to know the mean, median, and mode. I hope this helps. $18874 is the total cost of the wedding and the:

mean- $2097.11

median- $790

mode-none

The cost of your wedding is about average.

Check out this site, it has a break down on the average cost of a wedding.

Reply:The national average for a wedding is actually more around the 27k range...if you're in a large city then you might even have to pay more, say around 35-40k. You can get away with something between 10-15k if you're in a smaller country-side town.
Reply:and whats the question?
Reply:This songs about right but I think there are a few things missing

Food $3 - $10 a person

Cake $.75 - $1.50 per person

Is the Reception price for the venue and the rentals (ie. Tables, chairs, linens, centerpieces)

Tux Rentals are not on there as well

What about the venue for the ceremony? Is the pastor free or is there a fee?

Flowers?

There are soo many things missing from this list.

In my opinion the average cost is near $25,000.00(not including rings and wardrobe)
Reply:I own a country club and handle all of the wedding planning. I can give you a general idea on the reception cost. Our wedding packages average $69.00 per person including tax and gratuity. If your reception costs $7,246, the number of guests would be right around 100 people. The number of people will determine the cost of your reception....less people....less money.

Prices of music (DJ's) for weddings in our area range from $700 to $1500, so I think your average is low on that number.

Photographers are also more expensive on average than what you have indicated. Of course it depends on the package you choose, but in our area you would probably be looking at $2000. If you wanted a videographer in addition to a photographer, that would be additional.

If you were really looking for a solution to a math problem...sorry!
Reply:Well, the overall cost seems to be about right, depending on where you are in the country, but your breakdown seems odd-you can get wedding rings, for instance, for a lot less than that! Flowers will probably cost more, Mother of the Bride is on her own to buy a dress, and if your 'reception' category includes church fees, reception site rental, food, tables, linens, chairs, silver, etc., then that's a pretty good deal. The gown can easily cost more than that, but it can also cost less if you're creative. A DJ can often cost less than that. Remember also that you'll have hair, nails, makeup and other expenses, I would say the 'other' category is a bit slim.
