I'm trying to plan my wedding that's June 7th, and I'm really stumped on how to decorate the tables at the reception. My wedding colors are Chocolate Brown and Pink, and my bridesmaids and groomsmen are all wearing brown with either a pink sash (ladies) or pink tie (men), and my flowers are Stargazers, so the ladies will be carrying bouquets of stargazers, and the men will have probably pink roses on their shirts. So...that said, I'm confused about what color to do the tables that will have bouquets of stargazers on them...should I do pink table clothes with white plates, or white table clothes with alternating pink plates, and brown plates? I just dont know how to do this....Please help! Thanks for your opinions!
Ladies! I need your creative opinion! :-)?
I'm doing pink and brown for my wedding too! Love it! For our tables we are having the table clothes and plates in white, but we are having a brown table runner down the middle of it. We also are having brown napkins. Our favors are pink and will be placed on the tables and so are out center pieces it all should comes together nicely without being to overwhelming.
Reply:I think the Brown table cloths with White plates %26amp; a pink centerpiece would look awesome! The Brown table cloths would really make the plates %26amp; centerpieces stand out. I hope this helps! Good Luck :)
Reply:I love pink and brown, good pick! where are you going to find pink and brown plates though? does your caterer offer them? I assume you're not talking about disposable plates. Just do white plates, with white table cloths and a smaller pink table cloth overlaid, like criss crossed like they do in fancy restaurants.
Reply:Well I would go with pink table clothes with clear plastic plates or white paper and then have brown napkins. Hope this is helpful. Congrats and best of luck
Reply:Why not try something other than flowers? We are doing a bubble vase with sand and then putting a candle in with beach glass around the candle. You can get all this stuff in your colors we did all of our tables (14) for under $50. Im not sure if your on a budget or not. I think a brown table cloth would look great with a pink runner and vice versa on some tables.
Reply:I would do white tablecloths(they look classic) I would do white dishes as well. However I would put either a brown charger underneath the plates and have pink napkins, This incorporates the color scheme without being "too much"
Love those colors by the way! good luck!
Reply:If you have the option and it doesnt strain the budget, I would use alternating tabel clothes, because the place probably cant provide coloured dishes, etc. Actually, you may want to use brown linens because of the colours of your flowers, and then try to add maybe pink napkins
Reply:I think alternating pink and brown table clothes with white plates would be nice.
Reply:Have brown table cloths with pink plates - it will be consistent with the theme and look great too. Good Luck!
Reply:Brown tablecloth with white plates. Make your centerpieces pink and brown. Add candles too, that way the white from the plates may appear darker because of the tablecloth and flicker lights. Yet, DO WHATEVER YOU WANT, it's your day! Enjoy!
Reply:go for pink table cloths with brown plates, it will be consistent with your colour theme but a splash of brightness will take away from all the brown and lift the colour up a bit also, so that when your bridesmaids and groomsmen sit down they dont blend into the table cloth.
good luck and all the best
Reply:I would go with Pink table clothes, brown table runner, and white plates. That is more of a classic look. Love your colors BTW.
Congrats
Reply:I agree with the person who said don't overkill the color scheme. How about an ivory or champagne tablecloth with pale pink plates and a chocolate brown napkin? Brown plates just seem a little strange to eat off of (Just a personal opinion).
Reply:I would suggest doing white table clothes and using pink and brown as the accents to the table.
With a white tablecloth as a backdrop, you can do tons of things with your color scheme...
*Use brown or pink charges and top that off with white plates.
*Use your colors in the napkins
*Pull out the browns and pinks in your centerpieces.
Or what you can do is you can choose brown as your table covers and have all your china be white, but have all your centerpieces pink.
Use your colors to accent your tables and to pull everything together without being overpowering.
Reply:How about cream table cloth, light pink plates or white and darker shade of pink or assorted color centrepieces and candles.
Don't overdo the choc brown and pink can be an overkill.
Reply:white table cloths and plates with brown napkins and pink centrepieces. i wouldn't advise having pink or brown plates. alternatively you could have brown tablecloths, white plates and pink details - centrepieces, name plates? etc
