Affordable Wedding in Hawaii (not on beach!)?

I'm set on marrying in Hawaii, as I've been before and it's beautiful. Seems that most people want to marry ON the beach there though, whereas I would like a grassy area overlooking the beach/ocean OR a chapel that does the same. Problem is, everything I'm finding is way too costly. I'm only looking to have the ceremony, not even a reception, yet I'm finding in order to have the normal ceremony things included (music, minister, flowers, photos, video, chairs etc) it's $5k-$8k+. I'm only having 12 people or less there and really only wanting to spend $3k on the ceremony itself, as the flight %26amp; hotel %26amp; dinner are all going to be costly too! Does anyone know of any NICE places like I am looking for, that have packages including all of those things for that price?? Or is it as impossible as it now seems? I appreciate any help!

Affordable Wedding in Hawaii (not on beach!)?
My hubby and I went through http://www.wedaloha.com...We got married "on the beach" but in reality we were up on a grassy area overlooking the ocean and under some palm trees (Waialae beach), which actually made it so much prettier than just "in the sand"...But they also work with other sites that are less beachy if that is your preference. They are very affordable, and so professional and the pictures are amazing.

Best of luck in your planning and congratulations!
Reply:if you or any members of the family are military then the hale koa hotel will be a great place to have the wedding.

also a less expensive but nice place to have the ceremony is the Ilikai Hotel w/ a chapel.

Most people do opt to have the wedding at the beach....some beaches do have grassy areas....and some officitators do come to the beach to perform with very lil out of pocket cost. Ranging from $300 and up!

do hope this helps!!

havea great wedding!!
Reply:I know a wedding coordinator. I could try to put you in touch.
Reply:Nope.........gotta pay for a little piece of paradise........sorry.
Reply:I will be getting married in Hawaii as well..you will have a pretty price to pay for a Hawaiian Wedding....we stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach last Summer and they offer ceremonies once a week, but the ceremony is mostly for those guests that are re-newing their vows...why don't you give them a call and see what they might have to offer as far as a small ceremony for just a few people...maybe you could have a courthouse ceremony for the legal aspect of your marriage and then a small Hawaiian Ceremony offered by the Hotel...I believe it is on a Tuesday or Wednesday every week! Congatulations on your up-coming Nuptials...~~Michelle and Kids~~
